Oversees the day-to-day operations of the supply chain department. Directs the integrated supply chain program for the facility, ensuring optimal service levels and cost-effective inventory investments. Creates strategic, operational, and financial department plans to achieve the mission and vision of the departments. Manages, assesses, and develops all supply chain staff, identifying and addressing skill and capability gaps. Collaborates with corporate sourcing for capital acquisitions, construction projects, new service lines, and other strategic initiatives. Works with all related departments to ensure open communication and issue resolution with the local facility. Develops and manages department budgets for all assigned departments. Utilizes corporate analytics resources to inform strategic decision-making and communicates recommendations to leadership. Leads efforts to achieve organizational supply chain financial and process improvement targets. Implements internal controls and reporting to ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and contracts. Manages vendor relations to ensure compliance with corporate and hospital policies. Establishes tracking and process improvement activities to ensure customer service excellence.
