Job Description:

Oversees the day-to-day operations of the supply chain department. Directs the integrated supply chain program for the facility, ensuring optimal service levels and cost-effective inventory investments. Creates strategic, operational, and financial department plans to achieve the mission and vision of the departments. Manages, assesses, and develops all supply chain staff, identifying and addressing skill and capability gaps. Collaborates with corporate sourcing for capital acquisitions, construction projects, new service lines, and other strategic initiatives. Works with all related departments to ensure open communication and issue resolution with the local facility. Develops and manages department budgets for all assigned departments. Utilizes corporate analytics resources to inform strategic decision-making and communicates recommendations to leadership. Leads efforts to achieve organizational supply chain financial and process improvement targets. Implements internal controls and reporting to ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and contracts. Manages vendor relations to ensure compliance with corporate and hospital policies. Establishes tracking and process improvement activities to ensure customer service excellence. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel [Required]
• Working knowledge of all Supply Chain operations [Required]
• Capable of completing value analysis processes [Required]
• Deep understanding of contracting and capital equipment procurement [Required]
• Recognized leadership accomplishments [Required]
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical/functional departments and hospital operations [Required]
• Demonstrated competence using supply chain/ERP systems [Required]
• Proficient at using PeopleSoft ERP system [Preferred]
Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]
• Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years’ experience working in supply chain department OR > 10 years’ experience working in a supply chain department
Work Experience:
• 10+ experience working in a supply chain department [Required]
• 3+ experience working in supply chain department [Required]
• 5+ leadership experience [Preferred]
• Previous experience as a hospital materials manager [Preferred]
