About the Role
Solenis is looking for an early-career Supply Chain Data Analyst for our warehouse operations team — a great launching pad for a career at the intersection of data analytics and supply chain strategy. We’re seeking a highly skilled Analyst to improve the performance, safety, and efficiency of our global warehousing network.
In this role, you'll use Python, SQL, and visualization tools to help analyze supply chain data, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and build insights that support better decision-making across planning, operations, inventory, and service. You'll work alongside experienced supply chain professionals and data scientists, turning raw operational data into decisions that matter. You will be the analytical engine behind warehouse strategy, performance management, and continuous improvement across owned and 3PL facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Performance & Reporting
- Build and refresh standard dashboards and reports tracking inventory accuracy, throughput, pick/pack performance, dwell time, and service levels.
- Monitor KPI trends and flag variances or data anomalies for review with senior analysts and operations leaders.
- Support root‑cause analyses on issues such as mis‑picks, damages, delays, and stock discrepancies.
Cost, Inventory & Flow Analysis
- Assist with analysis of warehouse cost drivers (labor, storage, handling) to support efficiency initiatives and cost reviews.
- Support inventory accuracy efforts including cycle counts, reconciliations, and basic variance analysis.
- Analyze inbound and outbound flows to help identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare data and analysis to support slow‑moving or obsolete inventory reduction initiatives.
Analytics Tools & Automation Support
- Use Python, SQL, and Excel to automate recurring reports and perform standard data analyses under guidance.
- Maintain data accuracy and documentation for warehouse datasets and reporting logic.
- Support scenario modeling and ad‑hoc analyses as requested by senior team members.
Compliance, Safety & Process Support
- Track safety incidents, audit findings, and compliance metrics in standard reporting formats.
- Support adherence to chemical warehousing and handling standards through data tracking and documentation.
- Collaborate with EHS, Quality, and Operations teams by providing timely and accurate analytical support.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
- Understanding of warehouse processes: receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, value‑added services.
- Demonstrated experience building complex models using Python and SQL
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, Advanced analytical skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SQL or similar).
- Experience with WMS platforms (SAP EWM, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, etc.)
- Ability to translate data into actionable operational improvements.
Nice‑to‑Have
- Lean/Six Sigma certification
- Understanding of sustainability metrics (energy usage, waste reduction, green warehousing).
- Understanding of chemical handling or regulated industry environments (ADR, CLP, REACH)
- Willing to learn chemical warehousing regulations and safe handling requirements

The expected compensation range for this position is between $77,270.00 and $113,322.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.Top Skills
