The Supply Chain Data Analyst for Supply Chain is an opportunity for individuals looking to build or advance a career in supply chain operations within the aerospace and space systems industry. Under the direction of the Manager, Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Data Analyst supports the day-to-day analysis, reporting, and coordination of procurement, supplier performance, and material flow activities that keep Voyager’s programs running on time and on budget. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement. The position reports to the Manager, Supply Chain and is part of the Supply Chain Department. This role is On-Site based in San Diego, CA.

In this role, the essential functions are:

  • Analyze supply chain data including supplier delivery performance, lead times, inventory levels, and cost trends to support program and procurement decisions.
  • Generate and maintain supply chain reports, dashboards, and scorecards for internal stakeholders including Program Management, Finance, and leadership.
  • Support procurement activities by coordinating RFQs, tracking quotes, and assisting buyers with purchase order preparation and documentation in CQ (internal database).
  • Monitor open purchase orders and subcontracts for on-time delivery; escalate material shortages or schedule risks to the appropriate team members.
  • Assist with supplier performance tracking, including on-time delivery metrics, quality rejections, and corrective action follow-up.
  • Support onboarding of new suppliers and consultants, coordinating required documentation, compliance certifications, and system setup.
  • Maintain accurate records in NetSuite and E2, including supplier data, purchase order status, and inventory transactions.
  • Coordinate with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure material requirements are clearly communicated and tracked.
  • Support compliance activities including CPSR file documentation, small business subcontracting reporting, and export control recordkeeping.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, data accuracy, and process compliance.

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations in a manufacturing or government contracting environment.
  3. Experience working with ERP, MRP, procurement, or manufacturing databases (NetSuite, E2, or equivalent preferred).
  4. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, dynamic arrays, structured tables, conditional formatting, and dashboard development.
  5. Demonstrated ability to analyze Bills of Material (BOMs), supplier performance, inventory, lead times, pricing, and procurement data to support business decisions.
  6. Experience using AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar) to improve data analysis, automate repetitive tasks, generate reports, or enhance operational efficiency.
  7. Solid written and verbal communication skills; comfortable coordinating across cross-functional teams.
  8. Strong attention to detail with a track record of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  9. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, program-driven environment.
  10. Must be eligible to work in the United States; this position may require access to export-controlled information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in aerospace or space systems programs.
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, CPSR, or government contracting compliance requirements.
  • Experience with supplier performance management or corrective action processes.
  • Knowledge of ITAR/EAR export control requirements.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Experience supporting Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), BOM management, or product lifecycle activities.
  • Experience using Power Query, Power BI, Office Scripts, Power Automate, or other data automation tools.
  • Knowledge of component lifecycle management, obsolescence monitoring, and Approved Manufacturer Lists (AMLs).
  • Experience developing executive dashboards and KPI reporting.
  • Familiarity with data governance and master data management principles.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve supply chain analysis, reporting, or process efficiency.

Additional requirements:

  • Travel up to 5%, with the possibility of occasional overnights.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; this position requires access to export-controlled information.

The good faith base salary for this role is $73,000–$90,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
