We are looking for a Intermediate Parts Coordinator at our Crawfordsville, IN manufacturing facility.
Pay Range ($23.20 per hour)
What You’ll Do: Purchases and expedites parts; and ensures customer service.
- Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents.
- Responsible for entering purchase orders, faxing, coordinating delivery and follow-up such orders with appropriate vendors.
- Minimal customer service duties-fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Familiar with MRP, MPS, Supply chain, inventory management, JIT/KANBAN processes and procedures.
- Responsible for parts inventory and min/max re-ordering levels.
What You’ll Need:
- Must be able to measure using the metric system
- Basic math skills are needed to include addition, subtraction, and fractions.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands or arms.
- The duties of this position are carried out in a typical office environment, although exposure to manufacturing areas may frequently be required.
- The noise level in the work environment is normally low.
