OPPORTUNITY

The Supply Chain Coordinator is a tactical team member that has responsibility for providing administrative support to both the Supply Chain and Production teams through purchasing, inter-site distribution orders, and paperwork generation. This position will uphold the Hydrite “Standards of Excellence” through the continuous commitment to customer satisfaction, both internal and external.

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, primary responsibilities include:

  • Generate necessary paperwork to transfer manufacturing orders from ERP to the production floor.
  • Analyze/plan future demand for MK1 warehouse through inter-site distribution orders.
  • Work with supply chain, production, interbranch, purchasing, and customer service to ensure inbound and outbound orders are executed safely and efficiently.
  • Complete specific customer data entry for department to support planning needs.
  • Lead and participate in efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Process purchase orders for production supplies.
  • Implement safety improvements through effective vendor management as well as manage the supplier corrective action request program.
  • Manage inventory of partial containers to drive to resolution.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned

  • Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.
  • All staff members are responsible for reporting food safety problems to their supervisor upon observation of a known or potential issue.
  • Responsible for leading and driving the Hydrite safety Vision, Mission and Values as outlined in SF063AF.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to production scheduling, inventory management, and workplace safety

REPORTING STRUCTURE

  • This position reports to the Planning and scheduling Supervisor.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for driving operational excellence and delivering results.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel required.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and can initiate continuous improvement projects.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process improvement techniques is a plus.


PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around manufacturing facilities for extended periods (up to four hours).
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and office equipment for extended periods, including typing, data entry, and reviewing documents.
  • Capacity to work in environments with exposure to chemicals, fumes, dust, and other potential hazards, while adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, and platforms as required to access production areas and equipment.
  • Capability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats, including participating in meetings, providing instructions, and documenting production activities.
  • Adaptability to work in varying temperature conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments, as needed for production-related tasks.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

  • Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety and process training activities as required. Review changes/additions with your supervisor. Must be RCRA compliant.
  • Be an active member of the emergency response team and associated training.
  • Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.
  • Work with other staff members to maintain workload balances. Provide back-up support as necessary.
  • Support effective communication with all Hydrite departments where responsibilities overlap to ensure success of the branch team.
