Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of business flows to coordinate supply chain activities from purchase through sale.
  • Generate purchase orders for vendors on behalf of procurement.
  • Generate sales orders for cold storage facilities on behalf of customers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer spreadsheets, files, and supporting documentation.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, customers, and cold storage facilities.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Collaborate with credit representatives to properly issue and support claims.
  • Work with financial analysts to investigate aging invoices and help expedite payment reconciliation.
  • Participate in onsite product evaluations as needed.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Position is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
  • College education in Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or related field preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience within the fresh protein industry preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines while staying organized and accurate.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on limiting data entry errors.
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with vendors, customers, and third-party cold storage partners.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort maintaining customer spreadsheets and operational reports.
  • Familiarity with supply chain, procurement, claims, invoice reconciliation, or logistics processes.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment.

Travel

This role will travel as needed in support of customer and team meetings.
