Supply Chain Compliance Coordinator

Geleen, Netherlands

Today, Lonza is a global leader in life sciences operating across five continents. While we work in science, there’s no magic formula to how we do it. Our greatest scientific solution is talented people working together, devising ideas that help businesses to help people. In exchange, we let our people own their careers. Their ideas, big and small, genuinely improve the world. And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.

Based in Geleen, you’ll play a key role in ensuring supply chain operations meet the highest standards of compliance and quality. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical and problem-solving skills to make a real impact on product integrity and operational excellence.

What you will get
  • The chance to work in a global life sciences organization with a strong focus on innovation and quality.
  • Opportunities to learn, develop, and grow your career in a cGMP environment.
  • A collaborative and supportive team where your ideas and expertise truly matter.
  • A role that allows you to contribute directly to improving people’s lives worldwide.
What you will do
  • Lead and investigate process deviations to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely closure of deviations, change controls, and CAPAs within supply chain operations.
  • Support and guide operational teams in maintaining quality compliance and preparing SOPs/WIs.
  • Facilitate meetings and drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve compliance issues.
  • Generate, control, and evaluate documentation, data, and process insights.
  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring consistent adherence to compliance standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements, training initiatives, and effective communication across departments.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Pharmaceutical Science, Biotechnology, or Supply Chain.
  • 0–4 years of experience in supply chain or related operations, ideally within a cGMP environment.
  • Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to facilitate meetings effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and data interpretation abilities.
  • Collaborative and proactive attitude with the ability to influence and drive results.
  • Fluency in English (business level).

Every day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people. For us, this is not only a great privilege, but also a great responsibility.
