The position of Supply Chain Associate is based in the Iraq/Baghdad office and will report directly to the supply chain manager. Job responsibilities may involve checking inventory, delivering orders to the manufacturing facility, and ensuring that delivery and sales targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Support demand planning and forecasting by collecting, analyzing, and validating sales, inventory, and supply data.
- Prepare and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and analysis tools to monitor supply chain KPIs (inventory levels, demand accuracy, stock aging, supply risks, etc.).
- Analyze large data sets from ERP systems (e.g., SAP, TMS, IMS) and ensure data accuracy to support decision-making.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, expiry dates, and highlighting both short-term and long-term risks.
- Assist in procurement operations, including purchase order creation, supplier coordination, and tracking of inbound shipments.
- Provide regular reporting to the Supply Chain Manager on inventory performance, forecast adherence, and supply risks.
- Continuously improve Excel models and templates to automate reporting and enhance process efficiency.
- Responsible to maintain Accurate Customer and Product Master-Data
- Coordinate invoicing and organize transportation in an efficient and accurate manner contributing to To-Market-Sales financial targets achievements
Qualifications & Experience:-
- Advanced skills in Excel & professional experience in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment & strong communication and influencing skills, which enable me to clearly communicate both technical and non-technical information to business partners, thereby facilitating decision-making.
- high level of self-motivation to tackle complex issues, and consistently seek opportunities for improvement
- Effective supplier and customer relationship management skills.
- Capacity to maintain positive working relationships and a sense of urgency.
- Experience in a similar supply chain role within the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous
