Job Summary:

This position will report directly to the Director of Indirect Goods and Services.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and track global procurement metrics including areas of operational efficiencies, supplier performance, and benefits capture to drive procurement strategy development and implementation.
  • Support development and rollout of enterprise-wide category strategies (e.g., MRO, facilities, professional services, logistics).
  • Provide input and data analysis on requisition and payment process, spend management and benefits capture to the Global Commodity/Spend Category Managers and procurement management to aid in strategy development
  • Assist the Enterprise Indirect Director in preparing sourcing waves, category playbooks, supplier analyses, negotiation materials, and should-cost assessments.
  • Conduct hands-on competitive sourcing support including; RFx preparation, bid analysis, supplier communication coordination, and documentation of business awards.
  • Strive to continuously improve procurement performance by utilizing and understanding best practices, lessons learned and industry trends by participating in industry associations.
  • Apply policies and processes to ensure that all sourcing activities comply with company and regulatory directives.
  • Provide expertise in process and systems; contribute to the development and implementation of enterprise-wide procurement processes and systems including documentation; optimize requisition-to-payment processes and information systems based upon business needs, performance, and strategic objectives
  • Ensure availability of optimal reporting tools for management and user community to conduct analytical decision making.
  • Deploy communication plans and training programs for internal and external personnel.
  • Provide high-quality analytical output to support executive decision-making and periodic reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer.
  • Support rollout and adoption of enterprise Source to Pay procurement platform. Optimize requisition-to-pay processes, identifying bottlenecks and drive best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required – business or operational background is preferred; MBA a plus.
  • 1 to 3 years experience and proven technical proficiency with appropriate procurement systems and analytic tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Project, SAP R3 and EBP, Business Warehouse).
  • Experience with utilizing generative AI tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.) to automate and optimize processes
  • Strong analytical, business process analysis and problem solving capabilities.
  • Financial acumen
  • Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma methodology experience a plus
  • Experience in multiple business sectors/spend categories
  • Flexibility to travel up to 10%
  • Applicants must be a U.S person or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
