Description
Purpose of the Job: The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for sourcing and procuring components needed to fill customer demand, negotiating fair pricing, and ensuring timely delivery.
Reports to: Sr. Supply Chain Manager or Director of Supply Chain
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop & build relationships as the main point of contact for daily business execution with suppliers.
- Sourcing and placing vendor purchase orders to fill customer POs
- Monitoring PO delivery and expediting where necessary
- Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers
- Maintain data integrity for procurement activities
- Monitoring overall supplier performance, providing feedback, and jointly creating action plans with the suppliers
- Support Strategic Business Reviews with suppliers
- Work closely with customer service, sales, and strategic alliance groups to understand customer demand and requirements
- Analyze demand and recommend strategic purchases when beneficial
- Recommend and support/lead improvements to optimize the overall process and drive greater
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and/or 1-3 years related experience
Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
Analytical mind with business acumen
Detail-oriented and organized
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
