A Day in the LifeAs a Supply Chain Analyst within the Service Supply Chain team, you will be part of Medtronic’s Global Service & Repair PLC Center of Excellence, a dynamic and cross-regional group of supply chain professionals spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia. This team plays a key role in planning and procuring service components required to maintain capital medical equipment around the world, ensuring continuity and reliability in critical healthcare operations.
In this role, 50% of your time will be dedicated to supporting the Forward Stocking Location (FSL) team, managing service parts inventory across global FSLs to guarantee optimal availability and timely replenishment. The remaining 50% will involve close collaboration with the Service team, where you will focus on scheduling, delivery, and expediting activities to meet service requirements and drive improvements in operational efficiency.

In the FSL team role you will support the network growth and internal customer satisfaction of FSL’s in EMEA for Service and Repair (S&R) parts by: 

  • Providing advanced support in the coordination of product availability in FSL’s in line with the business Supply Chain strategies and processes
  • Driving inventory optimization via stock target setting, supply chain controls and excess stock identification
  • Providing hands-on support and coordination with the local teams in the FSL’s
  • Assessing the internal customer requirements and needs and being able to make the translation towards system and process design for network and inventory optimization
  • Maintaining master data and Product Life Cycle coordination for the FSL’s
  • Working in close cooperation with different stakeholders: Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Regional/Local Supply Chain Planning, Customer Care, Logistics and Regional/Country business

In the Service team role, you’ll be driving standardization via continuous improvements for multiple S&R optimization projects:

  • Plan and execute service part supply strategies to meet global service requirements
  • Manage the flow of raw and finished goods, services, and information from origin to customer placement
  • Monitor and improve logistics processes including replenishment systems, demand management, and electronic data interchange
  • Ensure customer service and delivery objectives are met with financial constraints
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and internal customers
  • Resolve delivery issues and integrate market intelligence to improve competitive positioning

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or relevant working experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management in an international environment
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel and preferably SAP/ERP and Blue Yonder)
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Understanding of End-to-End Supply Chain Processes including KPI’s
  • Spirit of Continuous Improvement
  • Passion to win
