The Alps Alpine Group currently operates 110 bases in 26 countries and regions, supplying roughly 40,000 different products and solutions to around 2,000 companies worldwide. Those offerings include devices such as switches, sensors, data communication modules, touch input panels, actuators, and power inductors; electronic shifters, remote keyless entry systems, and other automotive units; consumer electronics like car navigation and audio-visual systems; and systems and services such as digital keys based on smartphone app and blockchain technology, and remote monitoring.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Updates the inventory based on forecasts from customers.
- Receives shipping notices and inputs data of inbound shipments and updates inventory.
- Sends the information on inbound shipments to the warehouse.
- Prepares order planning and creates order/delivery plans analyzing past delivery records, and the latest forecasts from customers.
- Implements purchase contracts (Terms and Conditions) that comply with company and government regulations.
- Coordinates activities related to the procurement of electrical parts.
- Negotiates with group companies and vendors regarding quality cost and delivery to meet company requirements.
- Handle last time buy management.
- Manages tool release for new model tools and equipment.
- Works various information and engages in data compilation and analysis work
- Monitor the market conditions of each material, logistics, and market. Act according to changes in the industry environment.
- Promotes company and departmental goals and abides by deadlines while assuring that actions are being taken promptly to meet them.
- Provide support toward the certification and ensure compliance to customer-required quality management systems (TISAX, TS16949, IATF, etc.)
- Positions that fall under the functions of Product Development, Legal, HR, IT and Executive Management are required to exercise a higher level of confidentiality and discretion in handling information the positions have access to.
OTHER DUTIES
- Support monthly meetings for planning sales forecast.• Support ALAP (Japan) communication for global suppliers.• Perform other duties as required.
