The Opportunity
As our Supply Chain Analyst, you will keep day-to-day supply chain operations running while using data to make them better. You will own purchasing execution, vendor communication, ERP and master data accuracy, and inventory support for our manufacturing operation.
You will also dig into purchasing, inventory, and vendor data to spot trends, anticipate material needs, measure performance, and recommend changes that cut cost and risk. If you are organized, detail-driven, at home in an ERP, and enjoy turning numbers into clear recommendations, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Purchasing and vendor management
• Create and maintain purchase orders based on established purchasing requirements.
• Work directly with vendors on order placement, confirmations, pricing, lead times, delivery dates, and shortages.
• Audit open purchase orders regularly so quantities, pricing, dates, and statuses stay accurate.
• Follow up on past-due or at-risk orders and flag potential supply issues to the team early.

ERP and master data

• Create and maintain item and supply chain records in the ERP, including SKUs, Bills of Material (BOMs), and routings.
• Investigate and resolve ERP discrepancies across purchase orders, work orders, inventory, and receiving.
• Keep documentation current and follow established supply chain procedures and controls.

Inventory accuracy

• Support inventory accuracy through research, reconciliation, cycle count support, and correcting discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels to catch shortage risks and excess, slow-moving, or obsolete stock, and recommend next steps.

Analysis and continuous improvement

• Analyze purchasing, usage, and inventory data to surface trends, shortages, and excess.
• Evaluate vendor performance, pricing, and lead times to support sourcing decisions, savings, and negotiations.
• Run root-cause analysis on recurring purchasing, inventory, or system issues, then help implement fixes.
• Support material and capacity planning for new programs, product changes, and volume increases.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and clear summaries for supply chain and operations leadership.

Collaboration

• Partner with production, inventory, receiving, finance, and other teams to resolve day-to-day supply chain issues.
• Support the broader Supply Chain team and take on other related duties as needed.

What You Bring

Required
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or inventory management, including analytical, planning, or reporting work.
• Hands-on ERP experience.
• Advanced Excel: pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex formulas, and reports built from large data sets.
• Working knowledge of purchase orders, inventory transactions, receiving, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing workflows.
• Working knowledge of planning concepts such as MRP, forecasting, reorder points, safety stock, and lead-time management.
• Ability to trace inventory movement through purchasing and manufacturing and pinpoint where errors occurred.
• Ability to independently resolve purchasing, receiving, inventory, billing, and ERP discrepancies.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into practical recommendations and present them to both operations teams and leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management across many open tasks and follow-ups.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Comfort working under multiple deadlines, prioritizing proactively, and supporting several projects at once.
• A self-directed, adaptable approach and eagerness to learn new processes and systems.

Preferred
• NetSuite experience, including building saved searches or reports.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
