General:
Responsibilities for supporting production by performing tasks necessary to manage inventory of Slurry finished products from production to sales.
Main Responsibilities:
- Control Slurry inventories, ensuring their correct accounting and registration in the system including terminal inventories in SAP.
- Daily order fulfillment and posting Good Receipts (PGR) in SAP.
- Daily management and reconciliation of rework material their correct registration in SAP
- Monitor slow-moving slurry material, ensuring corrective action is taken, and reduce it to optimize space use and reduce costs. Ensure correct inventory turnover (FIFO), minimizing losses and obsolescence. Weekly and monthly reports.
- Ensure Slurry Heel Database is kept up to date.
- Reporting of material not available for sale, ensuring that this material is correctly classified in SAP.
- Report on deviations or problems detected, and propose solutions to improve the accuracy of inventories and the logistics process, including customer returns. SAP troubleshooting.
- Continuous monitoring of the quality of the different grades of slurry production and comply with quality standards.
- Work closely with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Logistics departments to ensure that inventory-related operations run smoothly and without interruption.
- Collaborate with the quality area to manage products with problems and properly follow up on substandard.
- Support in the coordination of the montly inventory of all slurry grades and reconciliation of SAP with Slurry tanks.
- Review and keep procedures updated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- 2 years of experience preferably in the areas of slurry, logistics or operation or some administrative function.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Knowledge in inventory and warehouse management
- Experience in the SAP platform in the inventory and quality modules.
- Knowledge of inventory control methods (FIFO, LIFO)
- Familiarity with production processes and the management of finished and semi-finished products.
- Knowledge in the management of blocked, slow-moving material not available for sale.
- Management of data analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of internal control standards and SOX.
- Skills:
- Analytical ability to identify and resolve inventory issues.
- Teamwork and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with different departments and handle multiple tasks.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
