Supply Chain Analyst

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for customer interface on strategic materials for key assigned accounts
• Primary materials interface for customer in new project start-up, as well as internal supply chain coordinator between sourcing, buyer, planner & PM
• Drive sourcing strategies in materials quotations. Present materials value-ads to customers, and influence customers to use Flex preferred suppliers
• Develop and lead implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans
• Track material financial performance, and initiate corrective actions when required
• Manage material cost review (local, regional and global). Lead supply base management effort to support customers’ needs such as cost reduction & supply chain solutions
• Exercise supervisory responsibilities, involving in basic management
• Develop proactive supply chain improvement plan-Lead time reduction, MOQ reduction, localization & alternative sourcing, replenishment program penetration

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• College degree or above, majoring in Management or Economics is preferred, supplier management, material procurement or planning background
• 5+ years working experience in material function
• Be familiar with BAAN/ERP system
• Good communication and presentation in both English and Chinese.
• Be good at using Microsoft office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
