Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Experienced Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
This analyst role will be responsible for the preparation of the weekly and monthly metric decks that are reviewed with both the supply chain management team, but also with Program Management during PMMs, BPRs, etc. Analyst will have responsibility for tracking shortages for B-52J CERP and relaying timely and accurate information back to scheduling and program while helping with supply chain mitigation plans and prioritization of shortages. This analyst will assume responsibility for tracking SDRL submittals, including any follow-up with key stakeholders on receiving timely sign offs or coordinating actions to ensure accurate acceptance of submittals.
Position Responsibilities - Associate Level 2:
- Measures key performance indicators
- Extracts and analyzes data from multiple sources
- Prepares reports
- Reviews procurement/planning systems
- Reviews schedules, creates plans and/or policies for execution of procurement activities
- Coordinates schedule changes with procurement for contractual changes to purchase orders and supplier incorporation
- Documents and participates in the implementation of lean improvements
- Communicates project objectives and activities
Position Responsibilities - Experienced Level 3:
- Defines, designs, plans and deploys internal/external projects
- Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators
- Extracts, analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan
- Develops, documents and implements processes and systems in support of company goals
- Supports the development and implementation of strategies
- Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows
- Distributes, updates and tracks procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis
- Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders.
- Develops risk mitigation plan
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st shift.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 1 year of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- More than 1 year of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
- More than 1 year of experience in building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- More than 1 year of experience preparing reports in support of data analysis
- More than 1 year of experience assessing and evaluating risk
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate Level 2: Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Experienced Level 3: Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
