Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a Maintenance and Pre-Planning Engineer (Mid - Level) to join the E-4B Programmed Depot Maintenance team, in Oklahoma City, OK.
The Maintenance and Pre-Planning Engineer (Mid-Level) will be responsible for evaluating on-going field and depot level maintenance activity on the E-4B aircraft. This position will research and provide input to maintenance planning documentation. The ideal candidate will be an experienced mechanical or aerospace engineer.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Provides engineering support for scheduled and unscheduled field and depot maintenance activities
  • Interprets 747-200 engineering drawings, specifications and processes in support of corrosion repairs
  • Evaluates component repair and procurement
  • Analyzes repetitive field and depot maintenance requirements, E-4B programmed depot maintenance documents, and depot maintenance completion documents
  • Develops and recommends changes to the USAF field maintenance technical orders.
  • Provides shipside depot maintenance liaison support
  • Develops lessons learned for improvements and review with internal and external customers
  • Develops a build plan for job sequencing and analyzes non-conformance reports

Basic Qualifications - (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5+ years of experience do you have with system and/or systems architecture

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Previous experience with 747-200 or other military/autonomous aircraft
  • Previous experience with evaluation of maintenance practices per commercial and military standards
  • Previous experience with interpretation of engineer drawings

Summary pay range Level 3 (Mid - Level ): $96,050 - $129,950
