About the Role
Are you looking for an opportunity to deepen your supply chain tool and data analytics skills in a meaningful work environment that supports and protects explorers and heroes? Join our team!
As a Supply Chain Analyst III, you'll support the organization's supply chain operations by tracking the efficiency and effectiveness of processes, with a focus on the improvement of both processes and data integrity, to include process automation, scripting, testing, launch and enhancement. Your responsibilities will include gathering and reviewing data for trending, and creation of tools, metrics and KPIs. You'll utilize continuous process improvement and root-cause analysis to develop business insights in order to meet and exceed Sierra Spaces business objectives. Additionally, you'll collaborate with leadership on identifying and implementing efficiency or performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement supply chain optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to streamline operations.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics and supply chain modeling tools to create accurate reports.
  • Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies or systems.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide insights and recommendations on supply chain processes.
  • Monitor supply chain performance metrics and report on outcomes to management.
  • Assist in risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or related field, and typically five (5) or more years of experience in supply chain or logistics; higher education may substitute for relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and supply chain software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient team player able to communicate and collaborate with all levels/groups across the organization, including participating and leading in department efforts
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer expectations


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Advanced understanding of data and data management, i.e. Tableau or PowerBi
  • Experience with SQL, DAX or other programming languages.
  • Certifications such as ISM (Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity) or APICS CPIM or CSCP.
  • Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Material Requirement Planning (MRP), i.e. SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in data visualization tools and BI analytics - SQL, DAX or other data programming languages.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • Ability to mentor and coach team members

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
$79,264.96 - $108,989.33
