Credence has an immediate need for a Supply Chain Analyst at the principal level to support the F-35 WJ Directorate (AFLCMC/WJ) in Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

The AFLCMC/WJ directorate contains the ALFCMC airmen that support the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) mission.  This support is across all disciplines to include program management, engineering, and logistics.  The support is provided at a variety of locations including Wright Patterson AFB, National Capital Region, Hill AFB, Fort Worth TX, and Tinker AFB.  One mission within AFLCMC/WJ is the Lightning Support Center (LSC).  The LSC is the F-35 JPO’s sustainment execution authority, providing support for the F-35 global fleet, including United States’ services, international partners, foreign military sales (FMS) aircraft. LSC comprises six functional areas focused on warfighter readiness requirements: logistics capability delivery, sustainment supply, maintenance modifications, support equipment, business operations, and global fleet operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

  • Monitor and assess the health of individual weapon systems, proactively identify supply chain issues, perform in-depth analysis, recommend solutions, and support implementation of recommendations.
  • Conduct analysis to enhance contingency spares and equipment support from an enterprise-level perspective.
  • Integrate contingency sparing systems and support equipment items across the entire supply chain.
  • Coordinate with DoD agencies, stakeholder staff, Air Staff, MAJCOM, COCOM operations, and maintenance planners to ensure effective and efficient supply support.
  • Analyze GFE/GFP, support equipment, life support, and demilitarization requirements.
  • Analyze and compare Government and prime contractor GFE/GFP plans and schedules with program status to recommend actions required to comply with plans, identify changes to plans, and recommend corrective actions to resolve problem areas.
  • Apply knowledge of GFP/GFE purchasing to determine costs, develop budgets, process purchasing documentation, and resolve issues to ensure adequate asset availability.
  • Ensure supply systems and procedures are followed in accordance with DoD and Air Force guidance.
  • Capture and record all pertinent supply data.
  • Resolve DMSMS issues, research parts availability, establish aircraft parts supply priority, and resolve MICAP situations.
  • Identify parts cost, lead times, and sources of repair or manufacture.
  • Forecast supply supports requirements and interfaces with DLA to coordinate, track, and monitor supply status.
  • Use logistics expertise and DoD and Air Force supply chain knowledge to provide complete logistics support in all aspects of supply system support, including accessing applicable systems such as DoD EMALL, D200, and D043.
  • Support and accomplish spares provisioning as required and interface with appropriate inventory managers located within a variety of DoD agencies.
  • Ensure platform spares requirements are identified and support coordination of programming the requisite funding to meet identified requirements, including research of technical data packages and recommended level of maintenance for source maintenance and repair codes.

Requirements

Education, Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must have at least an active or current secret security clearance.
  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in a related field and a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, at least twelve (12) years of which must be in the DoW/DoD;
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, at least fifteen (15) years of which must be in the DoW/DoD;
  • OR a minimum of thirty (30) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, at least twenty (20) years of which must be in the DoW/DoD.

Skills Required

  • Clearance: Secret
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in a related field and a minimum of 20 years of experience (at least 12 years in the DoD)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a minimum of 25 years of experience (at least 15 years in the DoD)
  • Minimum of 30 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements (at least 20 years in the DoD)
  • Experience with F-35 sustainment
  • Experience with aircraft spares and retail supply levels
  • Experience supporting deployment kits such as DSP/ASP
  • Hands-on proficiency with DoD logistics and maintenance systems including GCSS, REMIS, JDRS, DRILS, WSMIS-RAM, and Air Force Portal
  • Experience working with the F-35 Program Office and warfighters
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements
  • Preferred: ACC SEI 2BD or ACC SEI 2BU indicating expert-level F-35 experience
  • Preferred: Experience with statistical process control, FMEA, and Pareto analysis
  • Preferred: Experience with forecasting and regression analysis
