Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Analyst 1 to join our team in Mt. Juliet, TN.

This role is responsible for overall program coordination and management of new model launches and running change activities in conjunction with supporting departments (SCM, Purchasing, PPE, Engineering, Product Planning, DCC, Packaging, TCS, oCQE, etc.).

In this role, you will develop activity schedules, ensure new part numbers are registered, and initial order quantities are placed with suppliers. You will work with supporting departments to ensure milestones identified on new model activity timelines are achieved. Lastly, you will generate performance and metrics reports to ensure service parts availability at SOPJ (Start of Production Judgement), DJM (Delivery Judgement), and SOS (Start of Sales).

A Day in the Life

The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed, to support business objectives.

  • Develop new model timelines to support launch activities (on-going oversight).

  • Download and review new model recommendation lists containing new parts established to support launch activities.

  • Utilize and recommend changes to DCTs (Demand Coefficient Tables) and customer inputs to determine initial order quantities.

  • Work with Purchasing to ensure POs are in place to ensure parts are being ordered to support launch activity.

  • Coordinate necessary team meetings to review new model launch progress and troubleshoot where necessary.

  • Generate various reports to communicate launch activity status.

  • Follow up with Purchasing, PPE, and Inventory Control as well as affiliate departments to ensure milestones on new model activities are met including 95%-to-100%-part availability to meet SOS (Start of Sale).

  • Support DJM activities with the plants and other affiliates such as NML, NMUK, NMX, etc.

  • Represent assigned projects in various meetings with SCM, management, TCS, and Purchasing.

  • Maintain documentation on standard processes for applications and procedures.

  • Identify process improvements and drives projects focused on continuous improvement.

Who We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 0-2 years of supply chain management experience.

  • Working knowledge of Excel, Access, other PC applications, or mainframe applications.

  • Ability to work on-site at Mt. Juliet, TN.

Desired:

  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, and Snowflake strongly preferred.

  • Ability to manage various projects simultaneously and provide feedback to upper-level management on progress.
