About Us:
Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Corporation company, is a trusted partner in providing powerful edge computing hardware and defensive cybersecurity solutions to protect the Federal Government and private enterprises. Our goal is to support the federal government, our allies, mission partners, and private industries in accomplishing their cybersecurity and defense objectives efficiently and securely through cutting-edge hardware, engineering, and integration services.

Position Overview:
Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is looking to hire an experienced Supply Chain Administrator to join the team. The Supply Chain Administrator will be responsible for bridging the gap between Operations, R&D, Sales, and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, cost optimization, and supply chain continuity around SealingTech’s suite of servers and Cyber-Fly-Away Kits. This role will manage the lifecycle of material costs, from forecasting through delivery while actively mitigating risks related to fluctuating prices, high global demand, duties, and supplier vulnerabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Manufacturers, and Distributors to identify market trends. Analyze this data to identify areas for potential savings or to proactively flag potential cost increases.
  • Track and analyze direct and indirect costs across multiple suppliers. Including identifying and managing indirect costs such as Tariffs, Duties, and Fees.
  • Proactively develop and implement strategies to avoid or minimize these expenses, such as tariff classification reviews and alternative sourcing approaches.
  • Work with the Purchasing Manager and distributors to forecast price and lead-time trends. Provide forecast pricing to Sales and Product Managers to enable accurate quoting based on manufacturer projections, and archive this data for historical reference.
  • Establish and refine processes to justify pre-buying hardware (strategic inventory) to secure lower pricing or mitigate lead-time risks.
  • Solicit quotes from multiple suppliers and distributors. Work with Sales and Engineering from the onset of projects to secure sources and lock in competitive pricing early.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and extend payment terms with vendors.
  • Actively identify and address supplier vulnerabilities to ensure business continuity.
  • Gain a deep understanding of manufacturer processes to identify opportunities for cost reductions through improved efficiencies.
  • Solicit quotes and rigorously maintain current cost and leadtime data within Purchasing Systems.
  • Validate costing to ensure accurate Costed Bill-of-Materials (BOM) for all technology products.  Work closely with the Finance department to monitor and analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGs) and ensure alignment with budget targets.
  • Address and resolve supply issues to ensure the smooth flow of materials and on-time customer deliveries.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, purchasing, or procurement, specifically within the technology or hardware sectors.
  • Experience maintaining relationships and negotiating pricing with large OEM vendors and associated distributors.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Experience in purchasing of computer equipment and system subcomponents.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of electronic markets (e.g. NAND memory market, processor market, storage market, etc.)
  • Expertise in data modeling and forecasting in tight supply chain environments to deliver consistent inventory when needed for production.
