As the Supply Business Planner, you will lead supply planning activities for the Mexico Stream, translating demand plans into actionable sourcing, replenishment, and inventory strategies that support customer service, inventory objectives, and financial goals. You will work closely with Demand Planning, Sourcing, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Customer Operations to ensure supply capabilities align with business needs while proactively identifying and mitigating supply risks.


As a key contributor to the SIOP process, the Business Planner, Supply leads the supply planning discipline for the Mexico Stream, ensuring alignment between local business requirements and North America Stream priorities while driving informed decision-making across the supply network.


KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Own the Mexico Stream supply plan and inventory strategy, ensuring alignment between customer demand, service objectives, supply capabilities, and financial targets.


Lead cross-functional collaboration across Demand Planning, Sourcing, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Customer Operations to develop feasible supply and replenishment plans.


Lead supply reviews within the SIOP process, evaluating risks, constraints, and opportunities while recommending solutions to support business objectives.


Own inventory planning strategies that balance customer service, working capital, inventory health, and supply continuity.


Identify, Communicate and mitigate supply risks related to capacity, sourcing, materials, production, and transportation ensuring proactive resolution and business continuity


Lead supply planning activities supporting New Product Introductions (NPI), seasonal launches, and strategic business initiatives, ensuring supply readiness and successful execution


Drive continuous improvement in supply planning processes, inventory management practices, planning methodologies, and supply network performance while representing the Mexico Stream in North America supply planning forums and providing sourcing recommendations based on capacity availability, supply risks, lead times, inventory positions, and service requirements.


REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.


5+ years of experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, SIOP, Replenishment, Procurement Planning, or related Supply Chain functions.


Experience balancing customer service, inventory, capacity, and financial objectives within a complex supply chain environment


Proven experience leading cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain functions and influencing stakeholders.


Strong expertise in supply planning, inventory management, replenishment, and capacity planning principles.


Advanced analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable supply plans.


Strong business acumen and decision-making capabilities.


Fluent English communication skills.


Experience with SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Logility, or similar planning tools is a plus.

Skills Required
