You will take a proactive, balanced approach to contract management — focused on collaborative supplier relationships while achieving mutually beneficial commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Lead the development, negotiation, and management of Motion supply agreements to secure favourable commercial terms
- Review, interpret, and administer contractual terms to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Partner closely with Category Managers to integrate supply agreement strategies within category plans and procurement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with Product Managers to enhance category performance and profitability
- Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and supplier risks
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to inform negotiation strategies and identify opportunities
- Maintain transparent communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers throughout the contract lifecycle
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across contract management and supplier engagement processes
About You
You will bring:
- Proven experience in procurement, contract management, or supply agreement roles, ideally within a complex or multi-category environment
- Strong knowledge of commercial contract terms & conditions, supply chain dynamics, and risk management principles
- Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build consensus
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex contract language and assess business impact
- A proactive, results-driven mindset focused on achieving business objectives
- Experience with procurement systems and contract management software (advantageous)
- Willingness to undertake interstate/Trans-Tasman travel as required
