Hybrid schedule
Assists in the system-wide vendor management process, including onboarding operations, vendor due diligence, risk analysis, and maintenance of vendor data. Aids in the design, development, and implementation of internal controls and cost-effective approaches to minimize the organization's overall supplier and third party risk. The role serves to further the organization's mission of identifying and mitigating the risk of engaging in third-party relationships.
Job Responsibility
1.Assists in analyzing, verifying, tracking, and reporting on vendor management requests, for both vendor additions and modifications.
2.Performs standard and enhanced vendor screenings, in addition to further vetting of both new and existing vendors, and confirmation of data at time of onboarding.
3.Investigates, documents, reviews, and escalates any adverse findings identified during onboarding or ongoing monitoring.
4.Facilitates the resolution of escalated supplier-related issues related to risk assessments, and assists in decommissioning.
5.Communicates with and provides support to internal stakeholders regarding vendor operations, department policy, and risk reporting.
6.Liases with category management and clinical contracting teams to drive efficiency and supplier effectiveness.
7.Researches vendor risk management and supply chain best practices in the healthcare industry.
8.Works collaboratively and professionally in a team environment while interfacing daily with both internal and external parties.
9.Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.

Job Qualification
1.Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
2.1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
