Supplier Relationship Manager - Professional Services

Permanent, Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £58,000 - £63,500
Role specific benefits: 10% management bonus scheme
Join our team as a Supplier Relationship Manager and become a pivotal force in the operational set up and dynamics of our professional services. Your role will be to cultivate and sustain robust partnerships with our suppliers, in a variety of areas relating to Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) & Health Care Services. You will be driving the strategic management of vendor interactions to ensure service delivery meets our high standards of quality, operational resilience, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness. Your expertise will be crucial in contract management, performance tracking & development including swift resolution of challenges, and uncovering avenues for shared advancement and enhanced productivity. What you will do:
- Onboarding suppliers post contract, managing suppliers against the Supplier Management Framework.
- Leading governance review meetings with strategic suppliers to review performance against contract.
- Owning and managing supplier risk profile to manage and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Undertaking due diligence and assurance reviews with suppliers
- Resolution of operational and service incidents ensuring that root cause analysis is undertaken, and processes are amended/implemented where appropriate.
- Driving the strategy of the category (professional services), collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive innovation, efficiencies, business development opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining plans to prioritise and implement continuous improvement in terms of service, cost, risk, and flexibility.
- Instigating and developing action plans to remedy poor supplier performance and managing these plans through to successful conclusion.
- Providing regular Management Information reports and updates to business stakeholders at all levels
What you will bring
- Proven experience in contract supplier management, ideally across Professional Services
- Experience in managing supplier against the requirements set out in the FCA and PRA handbook.
- Knowledge of working with and managing outsourced Service Providers
- A good knowledge of supply chain processes and the tools and techniques that can be used to improve them.
- Good understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance activities
- Knowledge and experience of contract terms and conditions with an emphasis on drafting schedules
- Ability to communicate complex topics in efficient and effective manner.
- Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships at all levels
