What We’re Looking For
If you enjoy working with data, asking “why,” and turning insights into action, the Supplier Relations Coordinator role is for you. Blending relationship management with operational analysis, you will directly impact our customer’s supply chains by identifying supplier compliance gaps, uncovering revenue opportunities, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
The role is an early- to mid-career opportunity designed for individuals who are detail-oriented and organized and who can execute repeatable processes, seek out ways to improve processes, communicate professionally with outside parties by phone and email, and identify trends in data to drive measurable business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Establish, develop, and grow relationships with VPL suppliers via outbound phone calls and emails
- Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with key customer personnel in assigned accounts
- Analyze supplier shipping and compliance data to identify conversion opportunities
- Contact suppliers to encourage them to become fully compliant with our program
- Monitor supplier performance trends and proactively address gaps
- Work to resolve product or service matters by determining root causes and providing recommended solutions
- Document findings and maintain detailed records in Salesforce
- Meet assigned targets for profitable revenue volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
- Engage in all areas of our business to develop a complete understanding of business operations so that you can implement customer-facing strategies with a positive attitude
What You’ll Bring
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, data coordination, outbound call center, customer support, inside sales, or supply chain
- Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at all levels of technical ability and expertise
- Ability to work in teams and individually
- Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize
- Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office applications as well as comfort with web applications)
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret trends and identify root causes
- Comfort working with metrics, spreadsheets, and multiple CRM systems
- Ability to connect data insights to business impact
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple accounts
- Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, or reporting tools
