Supplier Quality Engineer
Technical Knowledge & Qualifications
Strong commodity knowledge in: PCBA, Wire Harnesses and Cable Assemblies, Solenoids, Transducers, Sensors, Electro-Mechanical Components and Assemblies(Motor, Transformers & coils)
Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ICT, FCT, conformal coating, inspection methods, and supplier quality systems.
Experience interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and quality standards.
Familiarity with IPC standards for electronic assemblies and PCB manufacturing.
IPC Certification (IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001) & Gerber files will be an added advantage.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, or equivalent quality management systems.
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics).
7-8 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Supplier Development, or Quality Assurance within manufacturing industries.
Proven experience managing suppliers and driving measurable quality improvements across global supply chains.

Monitor Supplier Performance: Evaluates supplier quality metrics and conducts regular assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
Resolve Quality Issues: Identifies root causes of supplier related quality problems and implements effective corrective actions.
Enhance Quality Processes: Collaborates with suppliers to develop and improve quality control procedures that meet customer and company requirements.
Maintain Quality Documentation: Prepares and manages detailed reports and records related to supplier quality performance and compliance.
