Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Supplier Quality Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Quality Manager the Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for leading supplier qualification, development, and continuous improvement activities for electronic components and assemblies. This role supports PCBA, SMT, diagnostics, failure analysis, RMA/MRA processes, and supplier performance tracking. You will supervise a small team and work closely with suppliers and internal cross‑functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:
- Select, qualify and develop suppliers according to quality, capability and customer requirements.
- Execute PPAP/FAI, supplier audits, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Support pilot builds, engineering changes (ECO/ECN/SCR) and process validations.
- Manage supplier returns, logistics coordination, MRA/RMA and export shipment processes.
- Analyze non-conformances, perform root‑cause investigations, and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support: Core Tools, FMEA, MSA, SPC, DOE, process capability.
- Support receiving inspection and MRB decisions.
- Lead and mentor a team.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Sr experience asa SQE or a similar position.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Experience in electronics (debug, failures, diagnostics, PCBA assemblies).
- Experience working with suppliers and customers.
- Core tool Knowledge.
- People management experience.
- Knowledge of ERP (Baan), FlexFlow, Agile, WIP control tools.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
