About the RoleWe are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure that our suppliers are delivering at the right level of quality, in particular through audits and supplier development.
Conduct supplier qualification and approval (new sources, special processes).
Conduct supplier / process audits (AS9100, special-process, APQP).
Ensure FAI (AS9102) and PPAP review; receiving-inspection strategy and defect containment.
Implement supplier 8D / corrective actions, scorecards, and be the owner of the supplier development; NDAA / AQAP flow-down.
Collaboration and Communication
Work with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Engineering, and Supply Chain, using platforms such as Jira or Confluence to document and track quality topics related to design projects.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and regulatory bodies, on project quality status and resolutions.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the design and development processes, focusing on reducing design-related risks and ensuring first-time-right product realization.
Collect and analyze quality data from the design phase to support performance monitoring and reporting for project milestones.
Engineering degree in quality, industrial, aeronautical, or mechanical engineering.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in supplier / procurement quality, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or automotive sectors.
Strong experience in Supplier audit & qualification, PPAP / FAI run, Supplier corrective action (8D)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments in an international environment.
Open for supplier travel
