Objective of the position:

The objective of this role is to support the Supplier Quality department by transforming supplier quality data into accurate, reliable, and actionable business insights. Through the development of dashboards, reports, data models, and visual analytics tools, this position enables improved visibility of supplier quality performance, supports data-driven decision-making, and helps drive process improvements across Supplier Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain functions.

Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded):

  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence Data Platforms (Power BI and Tableau), Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms, and basic data governance concepts. Basic to intermediate SQL skills for extracting and validating data.
  •  Tracking timelines and deliverables and escalating risks or roadblocks when applicable.
  • Define, document and coordinate action items with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of core data concepts, including how to combine datasets, validate data accuracy, and define meaningful business metrics.
  • Transforming complex data into clear insights. Supporting executive-level understanding.
  • English level: C1
  • Spanish level: C2

Academic Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Main Functions:

  • Build, optimize, and maintain Power BI datasets and Tableau data sources/extracts to ensure data accuracy, efficient performance, and consistent reporting outputs across dashboards (including DAX measures and calculations).
  • Manage reporting initiatives by defining project scope, documenting requirements, coordinating action items with Supplier Quality and cross-functional stakeholders, tracking timelines and deliverables, escalating risks or roadblocks, ensuring timely implementation.
  • Transform complex data into clear, executive-friendly insights to quickly understand performance trends, key risks, and actionable recommendations.
  • Provide user training and maintain clear documentation for report logic, data definitions, and refresh schedules.
  • Use intermediate Microsoft Office skills to analyze data, track basic metrics, and create professional presentations for management and supplier communications.
