This internship offers hands-on experience in supplier performance, quality systems, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll work closely with sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to drive improvements that reduce defects and enhance customer value.
You’ll take on impactful work in areas such as:
- Improving supplier quality performance by analyzing and communicating defect data
- Supporting supplier compliance with GE HealthCare’s Quality Management System and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with sourcing and engineering teams to manage supplier and engineering changes
- Driving quality improvements to reduce Failed on Arrival/Install (FOA/FOI) issues, field failures, and factory defects
- Participating in supplier selection and qualification processes
You’ll gain exposure to quality systems, supplier management, and operational excellence—building skills that are highly valued across industries.
Qualifications
We’re looking for students who are ready to learn, lead, and make a difference.
You are:
- Currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or Master’s program at an accredited college or university
- Must be available to intern either Jan through Aug 2026 or July through Dec 2026
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Committed to completing all planned Quality & Compliance training within defined deadlines
- Able to identify and report quality or compliance concerns and take corrective action as needed
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (GE HealthCare does not sponsor employment visas for this role)
Preferred Qualifications
You may stand out if you have:
- Prior internship or co-op experience in design engineering or manufacturing
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale), though all applicants are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving
- Proven adaptability in challenging situations
- Leadership experience and community involvement
