Supplier Pricing Specialist
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Supplier Pricing Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing supplier pricing, analyzing cost data, and supporting contract and pricing processes to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with market trends. This position plays a key role in supporting sales, operations, and profitability initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Analysis
Monitor and maintain supplier pricing and internal cost structures
Analyze pricing trends and perform cost comparisons to identify savings opportunities
Research and resolve pricing discrepancies
Provide market updates and adjust pricing as needed throughout the day
Create and distribute daily customer price quotes and monthly pricing reports
Systems & Data Management
Maintain pricing data and supplier information in internal systems (e.g., AXXIS)
Update and audit site data, including quarterly and biannual reviews
Ensure data accuracy across suppliers, terminals, and products
Contracts & Reporting
Review incoming customer contracts and prepare outgoing agreements
Analyze contract terms and ensure compliance with requirements
Maintain contract templates and manage updates, renewals, and amendments
Support bid preparation and contract documentation
Conduct contract audits and provide reporting to internal stakeholders
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with sales, operations, and leadership teams to support pricing and contract needs
Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
Assist with incoming calls and general administrative support as needed
Manage multiple priorities and support ad hoc projects
Requirements
Must be local to the Houston area (within 60 miles) and able to work onsite
3–5 years of experience in an office or analytical role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the fuel or energy industry
SAP experience
