Job Description

Supplier Master Data Expert plays a key role in the international rollout of Global Supplier Master Data template in terms of requirement gathering, template localization, deployment activities, and post-go-live stabilization. The role works closely with IT, business stakeholders, regional teams, and external service providers to deliver scalable and compliant master data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Global Rollout and Business Deployment Activities

  • Manage international SAP MDG-S rollouts in specific business units.
  • Support deployment phases and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Support rollout planning, deployment governance, issue tracking, and risk mitigation activities.
  • Support business users and collect feedback during stabilization.
  • Capture and assess business requirements against global  template.
  • Coordinate various testing and defect handling activities.

Business Process Reengineering (BPR)

  • Collaborate with Squad Leads to ensure business outcomes are reflected in delivery priorities
  • Track business value realization and KPI improvements resulting from supplier master data initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable business process requirements.
  • Define and optimize Supplier Master Data business processes incl. other partner systems and alignment with technical team.
  • Drive harmonization, automation, and standardization across global supplier data processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, compliance, and user adoption.

International Change Management

  • Monitor adoption and collect user feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Support organizational change activities associated with global rollouts.
  • Develop training documentation, process guides, and user support materials.
  • Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and support regional key users during deployment activities.
  • Support SLA/KPI monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supplier Master Data Management, SAP MDG-S, or related master data governance environments.
  • Proven experience supporting global SAP MDG-S rollouts and deployment activities.
  • Expertise in managing and governing supplier master data across the entire supplier lifecycle, from onboarding through ongoing maintenance to offboarding.
  • Experience working with SAP Business Partner-based supplier master data processes in S/4HANA or MDG-S environments.
  • Experience working with global templates and localization requirements.
  • Ability to work autonomously in global and cross-functional environments.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Conflict management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess business impact and prioritize initiatives.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field
