We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Supplier Manager to manage strategic supplier relationships and drive supplier performance across a global supply chain environment. In this role, you will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and teams based in the United States and Europe to ensure service, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved. You will play a key role in supplier performance management, sourcing initiatives, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration while supporting business growth and operational excellence in an international environment.
What You Will Do:Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against agreed upon metrics to ensure quality and service standards are consistently met.
Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to enhance cooperation and drive mutual business growth.
Proactively address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise with suppliers to maintain smooth operational workflows.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals.
Internal communication and presentations up to and including executive level reviews pertaining to supplier relationship strategy, performance and issue resolution.
Partner closely with stakeholders and suppliers in the United States and other global locations to support business objectives and ensure effective supplier management across regions.
Proactively synthesizes and shares information with stakeholders. Persuades others with logical, data-driven arguments.
Uses some negotiation tactics; able to assist in negotiations. Understands appropriate targets and outcomes for negotiation; uses information to tailor approach. Uses leverage besides cost savings in negotiations.
