Job Description

Supplier Lifecycle Solutions is the transactional arm of the Takeda Supplier Onboarding Operation and Risk Organization, securing on-time and on-quality data life cycle management, including global Master Data incident handling. Supplier Lifecycle Solutions cooperates closely with TBS CoE, which is leading development of best-in-class processes, owning the global Data Governance and driving data quality analytics.
Reporting to the SLS Data Manager, 'Supplier Lifecycle Solutions Senior Specialist" will be responsible for creating, enriching and verifying the correctness of Suppliers and other Master Data types.
The level of seniority for the role will be determined by the results of the interview.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Master Data in SAP SLP and MDG and related data collection systems; prioritize and accelerate requests to ensure business requirements are met with a low processing time and good customer satisfaction achieved
  • Ensure best quality control on Master Data, by accurately following the established Data Governance guidelines, while remaining flexible and customer-centric on ad-hoc solution support for the business users
  • Proactively drive good practices, continuous improvements and automation (robotics) solutions together with the team members for best-in-class performance in Master Data
  • Provide operational support in data-driven projects, as well as collaborate with the Data Solutions in the resolution of global data incidents


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide an expertise on specific/problematic master data topics
  • Performing urgent ad hoc activities including calls with the business and suppliers
  • Participation in improvement and automation projects to challenge status-quo and thereby contributing to continuously further develop the MDM processes and organization
  • Accountable for correct, complete, current, consistent and controlled Master Data across the core MDM systems, such as SAP SLP, MDG or ECC.
  • Management and execution of new data maintenance requests with a strong business user focus
  • Supporting user queries viaTakeda Solution Portal
  • Preparation and maintenance of process documentation
  • Cooperating successfully with external & internal users of Master Data
  • Fulfillment of the data management requests within the set Service Level Agreement

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Experience in working with Master Data in specific area/region
  • Working experience in SAP ECC, SLP, MDG, P2P, ServiceNow
  • Experience with Solution or Service Center, preferably in an international environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Stress resistance, discipline, dedication


EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Customer centric and solutions-oriented attitude with demonstrable experience in providing solutions based on business user's needs.
  • Ability to work concurrently across multiple priorities in an outcome-oriented and dynamic work environment with quality and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with evident relationship building with team members and business end users
  • Working experience in SAP ECC is a must, SLP, MDG, P2P, ServiceNow would be preferred
  • Further education certification in Finance, Management, Economics, Mathematics or related field preferred
  • Experience in working with Master Data would be a must
  • Strong interest in a Solution or Service Center work experience
