About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail oriented Supplier Development Specialist to join our team. The preferred candidate will identify and qualify vendors such as Franchise Distributors or Channel Partners in Korea.This candidate will work collaboratively with the vendors.
Essential functions, responsibilities, and duties:
- Identify and qualify vendors such as Franchise Distributors or Channel Partners in Korea.
- Monitor current CP performances and stay in communication with vendors.
- Assist the APAC buyers so that Korean vendors can be better utilized.
- Monitor email communications between Korean FD/CP vendors and APAC buyers to assist when needed.
- Assist with problem solving on transactions that involve Korean vendors in all categories.
- Assist the Doc Control team in verifying Korean company validity as needed.
- Responsible for other duties and obligations that may arise from time to time and as requested from the supervisor and / or company’s management
