You've done supplier quality or development engineering in manufacturing.
You audit processes for real: capability, controls, and culture.
You've fixed a supplier problem at their site that others managed by email.
You run first articles and PPAP with rigor and speed together.
You improve suppliers without doing their job for them.
Bonus: Weld and fabrication suppliers. Machining and coatings. Core tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA). Travel-heavy roles.

Skills Required
- Experience in supplier quality or supplier development engineering in a manufacturing environment
- Conduct process audits assessing capability, controls, and culture at supplier sites
- Hands-on problem solving at supplier sites with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Run first article inspections and PPAP-style approvals with rigor and speed
- Ability to develop supplier capacity and implement improvement plans without performing supplier's work for them
- Experience with weld and fabrication suppliers, machining, or coatings
- Familiarity with core quality tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA)
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites as needed
