The role

The Supplier Management team is responsible for the management of c. £100m of spend across a varied supplier base.  This supports Retirement Solutions & Asset Management and wider Group functions, in delivering strategy and customer outcomes.  The role will be fast paced and varied, with a great opportunity to learn on the job and strengthen expertise across RS & AM processes and supplier landscape

This role is central to ensuring supplier-driven change is effectively managed, well-governed, and transparently reported. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to track progress, challenge delivery, and ensure outcomes align to business and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and coordinate supplier-led and internal change activity, maintaining oversight of timelines, deliverables, dependencies and associated risks across multiple suppliers

  • Provide clear, structured reporting and MI, highlighting performance, risks, issues and trends, and supporting decision-making in governance forums

  • Support and coordinate change governance frameworks, including organising forums, preparing packs, tracking actions, and ensuring effective oversight and challenge is applied

  • Ensure all supplier change activity aligns with internal policies, control frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g. operational resilience, third-party risk, change control)

  • Maintain accurate tracking of change portfolios, risks, issues and dependencies, escalating and facilitating resolution through structured governance routes

  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, acting as a key point of contact to drive collaboration, challenge constructively, and support issue resolution

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrable experience operating within change, PMO or transformation environments, with ownership of governance, reporting and delivery tracking
  • Proven experience managing third-party suppliers, including performance monitoring, service reviews, and issue resolution
  • Strong knowledge of risk, controls and change governance frameworks, with experience maintaining risk registers, tracking issues, and ensuring adherence to control processes
  • Track record of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including presenting updates, challenging constructively, and driving decisions or alignment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities, delivering to tight deadlines within a fast-paced or programme environment
  • Strong analytical capability, with experience producing and interpreting MI/data, identifying trends, and driving actions to improve performance
  • Evidence of collaborating across teams and suppliers to deliver outcomes, with clear examples of end-to-end ownership and delivery

We want to hire the whole version of you.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you.

If you require any adjustments to the recruitment process, please let us know so we can help you to be at your best.

We’re reviewing applications as they come in, so apply early to avoid missing out.
