We are looking for a talented individual who shares our values to join our team as Supervisor.  Reporting to the Profit Centre Manager, Supervisors will maximize sales by executing all marketing, sales and promotional efforts on product lines, whilst maintaining financial and administrative systems and adhering to procedures to ensure efficient operation of the Profit Centre to exceed customer expectations.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Assist in supervising and coordinating the operations of the organisation to achieve agreed sales and profit targets ensuring that customers are always satisfied by the overall service provided.
  • Assist in maintaining adequate stock of goods to agreed levels whilst maximizing sales and achieving agreed gross profits.
  • Ensure the proper and prompt handling of all customer invoices.
  • Receive and deliver stock.                                                                                                                                    
  • Assist customers with selection of items as well as responding to their queries and feedback.                       
  • Oversee daily operations, managing team dynamics, and ensuring effective collaboration among team members.                                                                                  
  • Assist with balancing Cashiers when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • An associate degree in Business Studies or a similar designation. Certificate in Supervisory Management will be an added benefit.
  • Two years’ experience at a supervisory level in Building Supplies or a related business.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Good oral and written communications

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Customer oriented and computer literate.
