What Will I be Doing?

The Supervisor Yield Management is responsible for supporting the daily management of resort inventory to ensure alignment with demand, forecast, and business objectives. This role partners closely with Yield, Revenue, Reservations, Sales & Marketing, and Resort Operations to maintain accurate inventory availability, minimize overbooking risk, and support optimal occupancy and arrivals. The Inventory Supervisor oversees inventory execution, monitors performance against forecast and budget, and helps identify and resolve inventory risks such as out-of-service impacts, high-occupancy constraints, and data variances. This position plays a critical role in supporting operational continuity and inventory discipline across assigned resorts.

Responsibilities
  • Maximizes space utilization to ensure achievement of budget goals while maximizing occupancy, revenue, arrivals, and revenue per available room (RevPAR).

  • Maximizes sales potential by analyzing reports and making decisions to achieve budgeted sales goals.

  • Allocates within liabilities to support various owner and developer programs; reconciles owner and developer team member liabilities.

  • Trains front desk on the inventory liabilities.

  • Maintains owner exchange process via system automation.

  • Ensures fair and equal trading practices are maintained and abided by the team member with authorized access.

  • Responsible for setting bulk out-of-order placements and reconciling owner liabilities related to out of order (OOO) placements affecting owner liability.

  • Assists in establishing yearly occupancy and revenue budgets for home owner’s association (HOA) and sales and marketing.

  • Forecasts future business within three to five percent (3-5%) accuracy on a monthly basis.

  • Works closely with the Sales and Marketing departments in an effort to meet budget and develop contingency plans when the budget is not achievable.

  • Reviews future occupancy (to update availability, rates, monitoring blocks, group pick-up, etc.) on a daily basis, makes decisions to open or close out dates based on occupancy and/or overbooking strategy.

  • Communicates with management regarding booking pace and dates that require attention or have special events.

  • Communicates with management concerning dates for periodic membership discounting.

  • Communicates with management to make rate adjustments based on special events, market demands, and trends.

  • Works closely with resort managers at assigned resorts in order to address occupancy needs, new programs, reservation issues, and establishing an overbooking plan.

  • Performs one-on-one and group trainings on site with property management and team members.

  • Performs training sessions and property presentations at associated call centers.

  • Makes critical decisions on space management that will help drive occupancy, revenue, and arrivals to achieve budget goals and assist sales reach sales goals. 

  • Completes all required company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.

  • Adheres to company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures. 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: 

  • HS Diploma or equivalent 
  • 1-3 years of related experience 
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
