Key Position Details:

1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period)

10-hour evening/night shift; four 10-hour shifts, Sunday–Wednesday nights, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM

Every other weekend rotation


Job Description:

Leads daily supply chain operations, advances cost-reduction initiatives, and improves operational efficiency. Collaborates with department leaders to manage labor and nonlabor expenses.
Principle Responsibilities
  • People Leadership and Workforce Management
    • Supervises supply chain employees and outcomes relative to key performance indicators and organizational goals.
    • Establishes clear performance expectations, conducts performance reviews, and provides ongoing coaching, feedback, training and development.
    • Supports recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
    • Manages staffing, scheduling, time-off approvals and timecard sign-off.
  • Customer and Vendor Partnership
    • Manages customer and vendor relationships by negotiating service, solving problems and resolving conflict, and serves as the site representative for outside vendors.
  • Operations and Continuous Improvement
    • Develops, implements and improves inventory control and put-away practices.
    • Identifies and implements streamlined processes to reduce errors, improve operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
    • Provides change management leadership to support successful implementation and adoption of operational initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the description
  • 2 to 5 years experience in inventory, materials control, perpetual inventory systems or receiving, storage, picking and cycle counting

Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or similar
  • 2 to 5 years Supervisory experience preferably in a union environment

Physical Demands
  • Medium Work:
  • Lifting weight up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently

Pay Range

Pay Range: $32.92 to $45.12 per hour

The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
