Coordinates hospital-wide patient care operations during off shifts and weekends. Represents administration, supports patient placement and transfers, allocates staffing resources, mentors charge nurses, resolves operational and patient-care issues, responds to emergencies, and maintains safety and quality standards. Provides guidance to staff, communicates with physicians and leaders, manages patient and family concerns, and enforces nursing policies and practice standards.

Provide perianesthesia nursing care for patients undergoing or recovering from anesthesia, including assessment, monitoring (including ventilated and hemodynamically unstable patients), care planning, coordination, delegation, and education. May act as charge nurse or preceptor when assigned. Maintain required certifications and competencies and follow evidence-based practice and organizational policies.

Serve as the first point of contact for patients at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. Manage check-in, verify records and insurance, schedule and modify appointments in the EMR, arrange interpreter services, prepare charts, obtain outside records, and provide administrative support including reception, phone coverage, training materials, and departmental reporting.

Performs pre-analytical laboratory procedures in Histology, Core Lab, or Microbiology, including specimen evaluation, processing, surgical sample preparation, staining, waived testing, and order verification. Resolves specimen, billing, and computer-order issues; manages supplies, troubleshoots minor equipment problems, completes clerical duties, and may train staff or support procedure development. Works evenings at a central laboratory without direct patient contact.

Assists RNs with direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, grooming, mobility, transfers, positioning, vital signs, specimens, documentation, call lights, safety, and admission or discharge support. Maintains patient comfort and skin integrity, follows fall-prevention procedures, protects patients during transfers, and reports abnormal observations or equipment concerns. May transport medications and handle hazardous waste according to policy.

Provides hands-on assistance to rehabilitation therapists during patient sessions, supports safe transfers and transport, supervises equipment use, and performs modality setup. Maintains and cleans equipment, stocks supplies, checks oxygen tanks and crash carts, documents activities, and assists with front-desk functions such as scheduling, phones, records, and filing. Requires safe patient handling, emergency recognition, effective communication, and adherence to age- and culturally appropriate care practices.

Provides supervised patient care under an RN, including feeding, bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, transfers, vital-sign collection, specimen handling, documentation, fall prevention, and admission, discharge, and post-mortem assistance. Maintains patient comfort, safety, skin integrity, and a clean environment while responding to call lights and reporting abnormal observations. This is a permanent night-shift position with every-other-weekend rotation.

Provide chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive care to oncology patients using a systematic nursing approach. Performs abdominal, small-parts, OB/GYN and vascular sonography and provides ultrasound guidance for interventional procedures. Uses independent judgment and equipment knowledge to acquire and verify images, document procedures in Excellian, maintain patient safety and communication, and support the team. Must maintain required registrations/certifications and competence.

Provide comprehensive cardiology nursing care including assessment, care planning, coordination, delegation, and documentation. Support evidence-based practice, participate in quality initiatives, and may act as charge nurse or preceptor. Work 8-hour day shifts (part-time .4 FTE) at Baxter Clinic with possible cross-training to Crosby.

The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant supports technologists in patient care, manages patient information, and coordinates communication between clinics and service departments while maintaining electronic records.

Manages healthcare supply chain operations, inventory, purchasing, demand planning, budgets, vendors, staffing, and performance metrics. Leads process improvement, product standardization, compliance, recalls, emergency preparedness, and resiliency initiatives. Uses ERP and inventory systems, analytics, Lean, and Six Sigma to reduce costs, improve efficiency, maintain supply availability, and support clinical departments.

Leads research finance and post-award grant activities, including financial planning, cost analysis, compliance, risk escalation, vendor oversight, process improvement, metrics development, and communication with senior leaders. Manages, develops, and mentors staff while contributing to research administration strategy and operational planning.

Manages Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE cost report preparation, review, filing, audits, appeals, amendments, and reopenings. Oversees Minnesota Department of Health hospital annual reports, medical education and MERC filings, provider-based department analysis, and the READ database. Leads reimbursement compliance activities, staff hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, coaching, and development. The role is primarily remote with periodic onsite work in Minneapolis.

Leads enterprise contract lifecycle and sourcing activities for supplies, equipment, and services. Responsibilities include analyzing costs and usage, identifying savings opportunities, developing RFPs, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, documenting awards, coordinating implementations and product trials, managing vendor relationships, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring contract terms comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements. The role collaborates with clinical and administrative leaders across multiple sites and supports vendor-managed inventory initiatives.

Provide nursing informatics support across inpatient and ambulatory settings: evaluate and optimize clinical information systems, analyze data and alerts, lead improvement projects, consult with clinical teams, support change management, and ensure compliance and confidentiality.
