The Role

M1- Supervisor for ServiceNow Data Team

Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
The ServiceNow Data team is seeking a supervisor to manage and be a people leader to the day to day run operational & build activities support of the team.  This includes overseeing daily health checks for ServiceNow CMDB, ServiceNow discovery, ServiceNow Service Mapping and APM, ticket intake (incident, task, defect, etc), supporting testing plans/execution of platform patches and upgrades.  Duties also include developing and presenting monthly metrics and continuous improvement mindset.
Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of leadership experience, preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Previous experience Presenting to leadership
  • Ability to lead a Service restoration call (SRT).
  • Previous experience with OS or Application Patching and upgrades.
  • 2-4 years ServiceNow experience in CMDB, Discovery, APM and ITSM
  • Previous experience working with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Minimum of 5+ years working on a team as part of a large IT organization.
  • Minimum of 5+ years leading build/run team members.
  • Proficient in SDLC and Agile methodology
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Good understanding Infrastructure( Servers, Databases, Network and cloud) and processes of Incident Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, and Release Management as it relates to ITIL
  • Experience with GCP, VMWare, Azure or AWS Cloud Infrastructure

  • Continuous Improvement: Recommends/oversees enhancements to improve data quality, processing efficiency, and performance. Participates in platform communities and stay up to date on new software technologies and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively in a cross-functional team environment, communicating with stakeholders across IT and business units, participate in sprint planning, refinement, and execution.
