Summary
Oversees the daily Supply Chain operations at the hospital site level. Leads the Supply Chain program and agenda to our colleagues and hospital leadership. Attends daily leadership huddles, participates in process improvement efforts with our clinical and non-clinical teams. Coordinates resources associated with scheduling and daily activities and work schedules for all related functions of supply distribution services. Establishes and monitors key performance indicators for productivity and leads operational improvement efforts.
Job Duties
  • Establishes, manages, and monitors key indicators to assess the supply chain function. Pursues customer service opportunities and efforts to streamline operations.
  • Organizes the appropriate resources, anticipates trends, and ensures that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Creates benchmarks/metrics for evaluating and measuring against budgeted targets.
  • Participates in cross-training education, provides back-up coverage, and supports team members with projects and deadlines.
  • Oversees employee management and performance activities; coordinates daily activities and work schedules for all related functions.
  • Seeks feedback on performance levels and improvement ideas from staff and customers to remove waste and improve efficiencies from the replenishment cycle.
  • Performs random employee audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 5 years Any aspect of supply chain management. and
  • 5 years Supervisory role.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of PC's and other related devices and software.
  • Familiar with and be able to effectively utilize material handling and related equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work independently in a stressful, changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree Business

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
