The Supervisor, Royalty Operations will be a key contributor to the day-to-day operations within Royalty Operations and will be involved in all royalty aspects of all artists across labels, including contract interpretation, coding & setup in the royalty system, supporting Artists Forward initiatives, and responding to internal and external inquiries on the accounts and special projects.
What you'll do:
- Ensure relevant Artist and creative partner information received from Labels is accurately reflected in royalty systems real-time
- Deliver on-time, accurate royalty statements to artists and creative partners
- Interact and support Business Affairs with both vendors and royalty accounts which includes deciphering contractual obligations.
- Support complex internal and external inquiries, involving researching legacy systems and propose well-thought suggestions and conclusions
- Support Company’s continued Artists Forward (AF) initiatives
- Review accounts, contracts and advances for current and future AF Eligibility Roll Outs
- Work with Client Services to ensure that all royalty participants are set up correctly.
- Investigate and contact participants who Sony has lost contact with.
- Facilitate and acquire the paperwork needed in order to update their vendor accounts.
- Support the annual state(s) audit and escheat process
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of (4) years of related work experience
- Strong proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
- SAP, EROS, and JIRA experience a plus
- Detail oriented individual with strong organizational skills
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time productivity
- Ability to analyze and review information from several different sources (corporate systems)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Capable of working independently, as well as in a team environment
- Excellent leadership skills

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
