What’s the role?
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the Luxembourg entity and become a key member of our team as we continue to substantially grow our business and build out our European operating model.
The role sits within the Investor Services, Registration Department and is directly accountable to the Client and Investor On-boarding and AML/KYC Manager.
What you’ll be doing
- Ensure AML/KYC files are reviewed accurately on a timely basis for client and investor on-boarding and periodic reviews, including the set-up of all relevant static data.
- In collaboration with other Supervisors, perform AML/KYC reviews as well as overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team.
- Ensure the policies, procedures and all aspects of the control framework are adhered to by the team.
- Prepare operational control metrics, identify trend and areas of focus and present to senior management.
- In collaboration with senior management, identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and processes. Ensure the control framework is robust via effective procedures and operational metrics
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Europe wide operating model leveraging the various GEN II locations.
- Review and respond to due-diligence requests from third parties e.g. AIFM, Depositary, etc.
- In collaboration with Business Development, ensure new business is successfully migrated into GEN II from other service providers.
- Preparation of internal and external management reporting.
- Support internal and external audit reviews and client due diligence visits.
- Lead client calls and build a strong and trusted working relationship with clients leveraging regular calls to cover new client entity and investor on-boardings and all associated periodic reviews and resolution of AML/KYC matters.
- Coach and develop team members.
The ideal background for this role:
- University graduate or equivalent
- Subject matter expert level of knowledge of AML/CTF and KYC obligations with at least 7 years AML KYC experience working in Operations at a Transfer Agent or similar AML/KYC role within Financial Services or Fund Administration.
- CAMS qualified or equivalent would be advantageous
- Full fluency in English, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have experience working in a team environment with colleagues in multiple jurisdictions as part of distributed operating models.
- Ability to work autonomously, be client focused with ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Role Location/Hybrid Schedule
This role is based in our Luxembourg office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
Skills Required
