Role Summary:
The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Site QC program and providing active leadership in a highly engineered manufacturing environment. This role leads and supports continuous improvement initiatives related to Quality KPIs, QC process enhancements, supplier quality control, and internal audits. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality control and a proven leadership track record within large industrial manufacturing organizations, with the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels, especially on the shop floor.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the quality control team.
- Lead NCR/MRB processes and drive problem-solving initiatives.
- Champion quality culture change in alignment with Flowserve values and behaviors.
- Oversee QC for incoming, in-process, and final inspections, including source inspections and TPI coordination.
- Manage metrology tooling and calibration programs.
- Drive improvement of Quality KPIs (Non-conformances, Rework, Scrap, First Pass Yield, Corrective Actions, Punch point reduction, on-time IRN).
- Support site quality certifications (ISO 9001:2015 and others).
- Ensure compliance with Flowserve Global Procedures and industry regulations.
- Support and coordinate external customer audits.
- Launch and support continuous improvement initiatives based on KPI results.
- Lead, facilitate, and coach root cause and corrective action (RCA/CA/PA) activities.
- Partner with Supplier Performance Group to manage supplier quality and performance.
- Conduct talent and performance reviews for the QC team.
- Provide coaching and guidance to site leadership on quality matters.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns.
Requirements:
- Proficient in project management and process mapping tools.

- Knowledge of conventional tooling, GD&T, MSA, and Gage R&R.
- Understanding of customer technical specifications.

- Green Belt certification or equivalent.
- Proficient in data analysis and quality KPI management.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
