Job Summary
The Supervisor QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) will lead and manage the implementation of Primoris Services Corporation's QHSE programs and initiatives on assigned projects or sites. This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and industry best practices, fostering a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement in quality and environmental performance.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive QHSE plans and procedures in alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
* Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Provide expert guidance and training to project teams and personnel on QHSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
* Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications are obtained and maintained for project operations.
* Collaborate with project management, operations, and clients to integrate QHSE considerations into all project phases.
* Prepare and present detailed QHSE reports, performance metrics, and compliance documentation to management.
* Champion a proactive safety culture through effective communication, coaching, and engagement strategies.
* Stay current with QHSE regulations, industry standards, and emerging best practices.
* Manage and mentor a team of QHSE professionals, as required.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
* Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in QHSE roles within the construction, infrastructure, or heavy industrial sectors.
* Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
* OSHA 30-hour certification required; additional certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, ASP, ISO Lead Auditor) highly preferred.
* Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local QHSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
* Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive QHSE management systems.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QHSE management software.
* Ability to travel frequently to various project sites as needed.
