Based in Bend, OR, this Production Supervisor role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated night shift operations team and drive excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing. This is a night shift role (6 PM to 6 AM). Remote or hybrid working is not available for this position. 

This role is ideal for a hands-on frontline leader who enjoys being close to the work, developing people, reinforcing standards, and helping teams succeed through disciplined daily execution.  Successful candidates identify abnormalities quickly, respond effectively, and create an environment where safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.

What You Will Do 

  • Ensure safe, compliant, and timely execution of daily production activities. 
  • Reinforce execution of standard work and ensure production activities are performed consistently and in accordance with established procedures. 
  • Delegate tasks based on team members’ expertise to meet goals and reduce errors. 
  • Develop team capability through coaching, feedback, training reinforcement, and clear performance expectations. 
  • Apply strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve issues. 
  • Identify abnormalities early, respond in real time, and escalate barriers appropriately to support rapid issue resolution. 
  • Promote a culture of trust and continuous learning within the team. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging problem solving, employee engagement, and practical ideas that improve safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency. 
  • Provide accurate information to support informed decision-making. 
  • Lead daily performance review routines and communicate production status, risks, and resource constraints to the appropriate stakeholders. 

What We Are Looking For 

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience; college degree preferred. 
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a GMP or other regulated environment preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to coach employees, reinforce expectations, and create accountability in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Experience using daily management practices, performance metrics, or continuous improvement tools. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment and influence results through leadership, communication, and problem solving. 
  • Proficiency with computers and documentation systems. 
  • Willingness to work night shifts on a rotating schedule. 
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
