Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize and lead a team of Production Operators/Technicians to achieve daily manufacturing targets within acceptable quality and safety level
- Overall supervision of production activities
- Plan and manage cross training program for Production Operators/Technicians in upgrading individual skills and job knowledge
- Ensure subordinates carry out necessary check sheets and record sheets before, during and after activities (as required)
- Enforce shop floor discipline control with good housekeeping and safety at the workplace
- Ensure risks and gaps in production floor are identified and control measures in placed
- Lead in productivity improvement projects
- Able to perform and support any other tasks as instructed by Superior
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in MS Office, Outlook, SAP and good understanding of LEAN concept
- Effective communication skills in building key relationships with your team and other departments
- Good problem solving skills
- Positive working attitude and independent
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Diploma/Degree in any Engineering or its equivalent
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 3 years working experience as a Supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills with proven track record in leading a team of >50 Operators /Technicians
- Able to commit to 8 hours shift (Day/Night)
Work Experience:
- Preferably with at least 3 years supervising role in contract manufacturing
